While I was ringing up this family last night this obnoxious husband was handing me small items one at a time. I looked at him and said, “uh you can just give me everything at once, it’s faster” and he laughs and his wife goes, “oh he’s just giving you a hard time”. I responded with, “oh okay I’m looking forward to it”.
Can I just say that in retail I don’t give a fucking shit how “funny” you are don’t give any employee a hard time cause we will never be in the mood ever. I have better things to do.
This little situation didn’t really bother me too much but the ending to it was so great cause the guy was like, “what I thought it was funny” and then looked at the customers behind him and asked if they thought it was funny and not one of them said a word. Put that loser right in his place.
