I still keep seeing jokes about how women should “know their place” and “should be in the kitchen” and are basically second to men. I get that (or at least hope) the people who write or even reblog them are joking and it’s not so much that I find them offensive as much as I find them incredibly boring and unoriginal.
They make me cringe about as much as when my co-worker said the movie Jack and Jill looked funny.
Can we stop this from going on and try to come up with some original jokes? This also goes with the “women aren’t funny just kidding” jokes.
Stop. You’re the kid in class who, despite no one laughing, thinks they’re funny but they’re not.
@andrewhibbard just sent me a pic he took of me and @kristygee and @kdn13 and you can totally tell I’m on my tip toes. for once I thought people would believe that I was the same height as people who are older than me as opposed to people who are younger than me.
